Leonie is MD at Sanctuary working closely with CEO Deepak. Leonie is an ex-PwC London tax partner with extensive experience in advising some of the world’s wealthiest individuals, their families and family offices on their tax and financial affairs. Leonie moved to PwC’s Middle East firm in 2013 advising families from the UAE and the wider GCC region before joining Sanctuary in 2021 as Head of Tax and Structuring. She retains this role and her team includes UK tax qualified individuals experienced in providing advice to clients on structuring multi-jurisdictional assets and businesses, succession planning and UK taxes. Typical projects include residence reviews, domicile opinions, clean capital planning ahead of moving to the UK and corporate structuring.
Leonie also heads the Family Office and Fiduciary teams at Sanctuary, providing advice and services to family offices, trusts and foundations. She works with our clients to develop structures to help manage and protect their assets for the benefit of the current and future generations.
Leonie is a member of the following professional bodies: ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales); CIOT (Chartered Institute of Taxation) and STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.)
